Mentorship is a required marking period course for all seniors at CHS. Students find outside workplaces, usually in their career interest, that agree to have the students work as an unpaid intern four days per week over the course of eight weeks. Seniors leave school at the beginning of lunch and report to their chosen destination for the remainder of the school day.
The mentorship program was created to provide students with a real-world, work-place experience prior to their high school graduation in order to help them navigate and make career-based decisions. Most of all, mentorship gives students a chance to apply their ample skill sets in a real work environment.
Where have students completed their Mentorship experience?
