Courses
All Communications High School courses at taught at the honors level.
During the freshman and sophomore year, students are introduced to all aspects of the communications field through a variety of mandatory communications-themed courses. Beginning junior year, students pick their own electives based on the career pathway they find most interesting.
Communications High School offers classes taught in conjunction with Seton Hall University, Ramapo College of New Jersey and Quinnipiac University.
Students have the ability to purchase and earn 4 credits for Calculus, 3 credits for Creative Writing, 6 credits for Spanish IV and 3 credits for Spanish Communications through Seton Hall.
Students have the ability to purchase and earn 4 credits each for Illustration & Design, Advertising Design and Advanced Mass Media through Ramapo College of New Jersey.
Students have the ability purchase and earn 3 credits each for Mass Media, Advanced Mass Media and Public Relations through Quinnpiac University.
